Public Health UMS Lecturer Contributes to Strengthening the National School Health Program

SURAKARTA – The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), continues to demonstrate its commitment to advancing public health at the national level. One of its lecturers, Ayu Khoirrotul Umaroh, S.K.M., M.K.M., was invited as a resource person in the Analysis and Selection of Best Practices for the Implementation of the School Health Program (UKS) organized by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen).

Her participation in this national forum reflects recognition of her academic expertise and professional experience in public health, particularly in the development and implementation of school health programs. The event brought together academics, practitioners, and policymakers to identify and evaluate exemplary UKS practices implemented across educational institutions in Indonesia.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in discussions and analyses of innovative approaches and successful strategies in implementing the School Health Program. The activity aimed to formulate recommendations that can strengthen the quality of UKS implementation and promote healthier, safer, and more supportive learning environments for students nationwide.
