Surakarta, November 18, 2025 – The Public Health (Kesmas) Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, has again achieved a proud achievement by securing 2025 MU Research grant funding for its lecturers. This achievement demonstrates the UMS Public Health Study Program’s commitment to strengthening a culture of research and sustainable community service.
In the 2025 funding year, four UMS Public Health lecturers successfully qualified for several Muhammadiyah Research grant schemes, covering fundamental research, community service, and international collaboration. The grant recipients are:
1. 2025 MU Research Regular Fundamental Research Grant II
Kusuma Estu W., S.K.M., M.Kes.
Tanjung Anitasari I.K., S.K.M., M.Kes.
Both successfully secured funding through fundamental research proposals deemed to have made significant contributions to the development of public health science.
2. Community Service Grant – 2025 RisetMU International Collaboration Scheme

This achievement demonstrates the UMS Public Health Study Program’s ability to expand its global collaboration network while simultaneously presenting research-based community empowerment programs at the international level.
3. 2025 RisetMU Community Service Grant

Anisa Catur W., S.K.M., M.Epid.
The two lecturers were deemed successful in proposing community service programs that were relevant, innovative, and had a direct impact on the community.
The success of all the lecturers receiving the 2025 RisetMU grants is a clear testament to the academic quality and dedication of the UMS Public Health Study Program in supporting research and community service that benefits the development of science, the institution, and the wider community.
