Two UMS Public Health Lecturers Earn Associate Lecturer Academic Positions

Surakarta, August 29, 2025 — The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (Kesmas FIK UMS) has again achieved a proud achievement. Two of its top lecturers, Tanjung Anitasari I.K., S.K.M., M.Kes. and Izzatul Arifah, S.K.M., M.P.H., have officially been promoted to Associate Lecturer.

Both lecturers are known for their active participation in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi), which encompasses teaching, research, and community service. This achievement demonstrates their consistency and dedication to developing public health science, particularly in the areas of education, health promotion, and research-based innovation.

This promotion also underscores the UMS Public Health Study Program’s commitment to improving the quality of its teaching staff as part of its efforts to strengthen the institution’s academic quality and reputation at the national and international levels.
