Semarang, October 30, 2025 — The academic community of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta has once again achieved a remarkable achievement. Lecturer in the Public Health Study Program (Kesmas) at the Faculty of Public Health (FIK) UMS, Noor Alis Setiyadi, S.K.M., M.K.M., Ph.D., was officially elected as Chairman of the Central Java Regional Executive Board of the Indonesian Public Health Experts Association (IAKMI) for the 2025–2029 period.
The election took place during the Central Java IAKMI Regional Conference (Musda), held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM Undip), Semarang. The Musda, attended by public health experts and practitioners from across Central Java, appointed Noor Alis Setiyadi as the new leader of the professional organization through a dynamic and democratic deliberation process.
The election of Noor Alis Setiyadi reflects the strong trust of the Central Java public health community in his academic capacity, track record of dedication, and leadership in advancing public health. With this mandate, he is expected to strengthen the strategic role of the Central Java Indonesian Medical Association (IAKMI) in policy advocacy, member competency development, and multi-sector collaboration to improve public health.
The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMS), expresses its appreciation and pride for this achievement. May this new leadership bring blessings and contribute broadly to the advancement of public health in Central Java and Indonesia.
