SURAKARTA – The Public Health (Kesmas) Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) held a Practical Module Workshop on February 4, 2026, as an effort to improve the quality of practical learning for students.
The event was attended by lecturers from the UMS Public Health Study Program who teach practical courses in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as practical assistants involved in implementing practical activities in the laboratory and field.
The workshop aimed to develop and refine practical modules that will serve as learning guides for students. Through structured and systematic module development, it is hoped that the practical process will be more effective and support optimal student learning outcomes.
During the event, the lecturers and practical assistants discussed and adjusted the practical materials, implementation methods, and evaluation standards that will be applied to each practical course in the UMS Public Health Study Program.
Through this workshop, the UMS Public Health Study Program is committed to continuously improving the quality of the learning process, especially in practical activities which are an important part of equipping students with skills and competencies in the field of public health.
