SURAKARTA – The Public Health (Kesmas) Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), along with UMS Public Health Student Ambassadors, held a promotional event for New Student Admissions (PMB) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year at the Car Free Day (CFD) area on Slamet Riyadi Street, Solo, on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
This activity involved distributing flyers and information leaflets to the public in the CFD area. In addition to distributing promotional materials, the students also provided a brief explanation of the UMS Public Health Study Program, career opportunities for graduates, and various academic and student activities available at UMS Public Health.
The presence of UMS Public Health and the Student Ambassadors is part of the study program’s efforts to broaden the field of public health to the public, especially to students considering their university study options.
Through this activity, the UMS Public Health Study Program hopes to increase the interest of prospective new students while also broadening their knowledge about the important role of public health in improving the quality of life.
This direct public promotion also provides a platform for UMS Public Health students to hone their communication and education skills, and strengthen their involvement in supporting the institution’s activities.
