UMS Public Health Students Win Gold Medal at World Young Inventors Exhibition 2025

Malaysia, May 31, 2025 — Students of the Public Health Study Program (Kesmas) of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) have once again achieved a proud achievement. Aisyah Nur Afifah, along with her team, won the Gold Medal at the prestigious international event, the World Young Inventors Exhibition (WYIE) 2025, held in Malaysia on May 29–31, 2025.

This competition is part of the International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) series, which brings together young inventors from various countries to showcase creative and solution-oriented innovations. The innovative work presented by Aisyah and her team managed to steal the attention of the jury, thanks to their contribution to applicable and impactful public health-based solutions.

This success is clear evidence that UMS students are not only academically superior, but are also able to compete and innovate at the global level. This achievement also strengthens the commitment of the UMS Public Health Study Program in supporting the development of its students’ potential and creativity.
