Surakarta, November 20, 2025 – Students from the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) have once again achieved international success. At the International Entrepreneurship Festival of Business Administration (IEFBA) Nextplay 2025, the UMS team won third place with their business innovation, NUTRIOS: One-Stop 4-in-1 Platform for Smart Nutrition and Sustainable Living.

NUTRIOS is an integrated platform concept that combines nutrition education, health monitoring, consultation, and promotion of a sustainable lifestyle. This innovation is considered superior because it addresses the public’s need for easy, integrated, and technology-based access to nutrition information.

This achievement was achieved by a UMS interdisciplinary team consisting of:

Salsabila Khoirun Nisa – Public Health Study Program

Dizzo Violeta – Informatics Study Program

Arief Surya Adhi – Accounting Study Program

Aswa Arsa Kumala – Medical Study Program

The team was mentored by Izzatul Arifah, S.KM., M.PH., a lecturer in the UMS Public Health Study Program.

This achievement underscores UMS’s commitment to encouraging students to innovate, collaborate across disciplines, and compete at the global level. The UMS team’s success at IEFBA Nextplay 2025 also strengthens the university’s position as an institution actively supporting the development of science and technology-based entrepreneurship.
