Improving Student Ability in Reference Management with Mendeley

Surakarta, October 2024 – The Public Health Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has successfully held Mendeley Training on October 16 and 23, 2024 at the UMS Library. This activity aims to equip students with skills in managing academic references to support their scientific writing.

This training was attended by 5th semester students who in the following semester will start the Proposal Seminar course as part of their preparation for writing a Thesis. By understanding the use of Mendeley, students are expected to be able to more easily retrieve sources and content from the library, both manually and automatically, so that they can improve their academic quality.

This activity received a positive response from the participants who felt helped in managing references more efficiently. With this training, the UMS Public Health Study Program is committed to continuing to support students in developing the academic skills needed for research and scientific writing.
