UMS Public Health Team Achieves Proud Achievement at IPHO 2025

Surakarta, November 4, 2025 — Students and lecturers from the Public Health Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta have once again achieved outstanding results on the national stage. At the 4th Indonesian Public Health Olympiad (IPHO), organized by AIPTKMI (Indonesian Institute of Public Health), the UMS Public Health team achieved several impressive achievements, strengthening UMS’s position as one of the leading universities in the field of public health.

One of the key achievements was achieved by the UMS Public Health student team: Khairunnisa Fatin Nazzala, Siti Nurul Khasanah, and Firli Shahibah, who won 1st Place in the Health Program Planning competition. This achievement was the result of hard work and intensive guidance from their supervisors, Dwi Linna Suswardany, S.K.M., M.P.H., and Salsabila Purnamasari, S.K.M., M.P.H.

In addition, the UMS delegation also achieved various other accomplishments throughout the competition:

9th Place in the National IPHO 2025 Championship

3rd Place in the Health Policy Analysis Competition (Central Region 1)

3rd Place in the Health Program Planning Competition (Central Region 1)

This series of achievements reflects the UMS Public Health Study Program’s commitment to producing superior, critical, and competitive students at the national level. The students’ success also demonstrates the strong synergy between academic learning, scientific competitions, and ongoing mentoring from the lecturers.

The UMS Public Health Study Program expresses its highest appreciation to the entire team and their supervisors for their dedication and achievements. Hopefully, these achievements will inspire other students to continue to excel and contribute to the development of public health in Indonesia.
