UMS Public Health Holds Internship Proposal and PBL-2 Workshop as Student Development

SURAKARTA – The Public Health (Kesmas) Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) held an Internship Proposal and PBL-2 Workshop on March 6, 2026, in the UMS Postgraduate Seminar Room. This event was part of a series of training sessions for students who will be taking the Internship and Field Learning Practice (PBL-2) course in the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

The workshop was attended by Sheena Ramadhia Asmara Dhani, S.KM., M.KKK. and Alissa Sita Pertiwi, S.K.M., M.K.M., as the Internship and PBL-2 coordinators of the UMS Public Health Study Program. The event was also supported by Widya Kusuma Muslim, S.Tr.Kes., and Rayyan Hanugrah, S.Kom.

The workshop aimed to provide students with an understanding of the preparation of internship and PBL-2 proposals, from topic selection and background development, implementation methods, to proposal writing procedures in accordance with the academic guidelines of the UMS Public Health Study Program.

In addition, students were provided with guidance on the technical aspects of implementing internships and PBL-2 in the field, including coordination mechanisms with partner agencies and expected learning outcomes during the program.

Through this workshop, the UMS Public Health Study Program hopes that students will be able to prepare their proposals more thoroughly, ensuring that the internship and PBL-2 programs are implemented in a focused manner and provide an optimal learning experience for students in applying public health knowledge in the field.
