Surakarta, May 24, 2025 — Lecturers of the Public Health Study Program (Kesmas) of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) have once again made a proud achievement at the national level. Four lecturers have successfully obtained grant funding from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) in 2025, consisting of two categories, namely community service grants and research grants.
The community service grant funding was successfully obtained by:
- Windi Wulandari, S.K.M., M.P.H.
- Ayu Khoirotul Umaroh, S.K.M., M.K.M.
Meanwhile, research grant funding was obtained by:
- Dr. Yuli Kusumawati, S.K.M., M.Kes (epid).
- Izzatul Arifah, S.K.M., M.P.H.
The four lecturers were declared to have passed the funding selection based on proposals submitted through a national competitive mechanism organized by DPPM. This grant is a form of appreciation and support for the active contribution of academics in the development of science and community empowerment.
The UMS Public Health Study Program gives its highest appreciation for this achievement. It is hoped that this achievement can encourage the enthusiasm of other lecturers in producing research and community service programs that have a real impact on the community and strengthen UMS’s academic reputation on the national stage.
UMS continues to be committed to becoming a superior campus in producing academic staff and practitioners who are not only competent in their fields, but also useful and responsive to the needs of the community.
