Lecturer of UMS Public Health Study Program Achieves Functional Position of Senior Lecturer

Surakarta, March 27, 2025 — The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has once again made a proud achievement. One of its best lecturers, Noor Alis Setiyadi, S.KM., M.K.M., Ph.D., officially achieved the functional academic position of Senior Lecturer, as a form of recognition for his contribution and dedication in the fields of education, research, and community service.

This achievement is not only proof of his academic quality, but also an inspiration for the entire academic community in the UMS Public Health Study Program. With a doctoral degree and a strong background in public health, Dr. Noor Alis has consistently demonstrated extraordinary performance in guiding students, publishing reputable scientific works, and being active in various community service activities.

“This achievement is certainly a motivation for us to continue to improve the quality of education and research in the field of public health. We are proud to have an academic figure of Dr. Noor Alis’ caliber in our team,” said the Head of the UMS Public Health Study Program.

With the appointment as Senior Lecturer, it is hoped that Dr. Noor Alis can continue to play an active role in building a superior and contributive academic atmosphere, as well as helping to encourage the progress of the UMS Public Health Study Program at the national and international levels.

This achievement is also an encouragement for all young lecturers in the UMS environment to continue to innovate, work, and develop in their academic careers.
