International Collaboration of UMS Public Health Study Program Successfully Holds Public Lecture with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

Surakarta, July 2024 – The Public Health Study Program (KesMas) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has once again demonstrated its commitment to international collaboration to improve students’ knowledge through a Public Lecture with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) on the topic of Principle of Pesticides. This lecture took place on Friday, June 21, 2024, presenting Public Health Expert Lecturer, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wan Fatma Zuharah Binti Wan Musthapa from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

This lecture was successfully attended by Public Health students who were enthusiastic about learning directly from Prof. Wan. This lecture was not only about transferring knowledge, but also an effort to strengthen relations between universities and open up opportunities for wider collaboration.

“This lecture enriches the learning experience of students with foreign lecturers, besides that it also strengthens the relationship between UMS and USM in a joint effort to improve the quality of education in the field of public health,” explained Mrs. Mitoriana as the lecturer of the Vector-Borne Disease Course, Saturday (6/22/2024)

The UMS Public Health Study Program affirms its commitment to producing graduates who are able to compete and contribute to the field of public health at the global level.
