NATIONAL SEMINAR & CALL FOR PAPERS 2025 UMS Public Health Study Program

Surakarta, March 4, 2025 — The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) is once again presenting a prestigious annual program: the National Seminar & Call for Papers 2025, which will be held online on May 27, 2025. Carrying the theme: “Sustainable Primary Health Care Integration Strategy: Synergy of Policy, Academics, and Field Practice”, this activity is an important forum for cross-sector collaboration in strengthening the primary health care system in Indonesia.

This activity will present four inspiring speakers from various backgrounds, both practitioners, academics, and policy makers, namely:

  • Sarah Taki, MPH., Ph.D. – Senior Research Officer, Sydney Local Health District
  • dr. Maria Endang Sumiwi, MPH. – Director General of Primary and Community Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia
  • Ferry Ali Setiyanto, S.Kep., Ns., M.AP. – Head of Kaliangkrik Health Center
  • Dwi Linna Suswardany, SKM., MPH. – Lecturer of UMS Public Health Study Program

In addition to the seminar, this activity also opens a Call for Papers addressed to students, academics, researchers, and health practitioners throughout Indonesia. The submitted papers will be published in the National Proceedings, and selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in nationally accredited journals.

Registration for the Seminar and Call for Papers is open starting March 4, 2025.

This activity is expected to be a real contribution to the development of sustainable primary health services by strengthening the synergy between policies, academic theories, and practices in the field.
