Surakarta, February 17, 2025 — The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS), officially announced the complete formation of the 2025 Public Health Promotion Ambassadors, which now consists of five selected students. The three new faces this year are Nafidah Nasywa, Raditya Arva, and Rara Vera, who join the two previous ambassadors, Afnan Zain and Rivandi Athaya.
The addition of these three new ambassadors is a strategic step by the UMS Public Health Study Program in strengthening its educational and advocacy role to the community, especially in preventive health issues, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and increasing public awareness of the importance of primary health services.
These five ambassadors will represent the spirit, intellectuality, and concern of UMS Public Health students in various health promotion activities, both on campus and in public spaces. They will also be at the forefront of conveying health messages through social media, community collaboration, and community service activities.
The Coordinator of the Public Health Promotion Ambassadors of the UMS Public Health Study Program said, “We are proud and congratulate our five extraordinary ambassadors. They are representatives of students who are not only academically superior, but also care about community service. We hope they continue to inspire and bring the promotive-preventive spirit in every step.”
With this new formation, it is hoped that the public health promotion movement will be more inclusive, have a broad impact, and become an integral part of the vision of the UMS Public Health Study Program to create graduates who are competitive, have a social spirit, and are adaptive to the challenges of the times.
Good luck to all the 2025 Public Health Promotion Ambassadors: Nafidah, Raditya, Rara, Afnan, and Rivandi!
