Surakarta, October 7, 2025 — A student from the Public Health Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS Public Health) has once again achieved a proud achievement. Afnan Zain Muzakki, a student from the class of 2023, won a Silver Medal (2nd place) in the National 10 Juz (10 Juz) Quran Recitation Competition (MHQ) as part of the 2025 Sebelas Maret Islamic Festival Competition.

The competition, attended by participants from various universities across Indonesia, is a prestigious platform to showcase Quran memorization and understanding skills. Afnan’s achievement demonstrates that UMS Public Health students excel not only in academic achievement and scientific development, but also in the field of Islamic studies.
