Realizing Scientific Collaboration between Students and Lecturers in Research and Community Service

Surakarta, February 28, 2025 – The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) is holding the annual Call for Student Papers 2025 program again. This program is a forum for students to develop their academic potential and social awareness through research and community service activities in synergy with their supervising lecturers.

This Call for Student Papers is specifically intended for active students of the UMS Public Health Study Program who have ideas and concepts in the form of scientific activity proposals. Each proposal submitted must be carried out collaboratively between students and supervising lecturers from the study program, so that it can guarantee the quality and relevance of the activity to the needs of the community.

This program also provides a funding subsidy of IDR 750,000 for each proposal that passes the selection, as a form of concrete support in realizing impactful scientific work.

Registration and submission of official proposals will open on February 28, 2025 and will close on March 15, 2025. Students are expected to utilize the available time to prepare proposals in a mature and innovative manner.

The Head of the UMS Public Health Study Program said that this activity not only aims to improve students’ academic capacity, but also foster a spirit of collaboration, concern for the community, and contribution to the development of public health science based on real needs.
