UMS Public Health Study Program Exceeds Expectations in 2026 Internal Quality Audit

SURAKARTA – The Public Health (Kesmas) Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) conducted an Internal Quality Audit (AMI) on February 13, 2026, as part of its commitment to continuous quality improvement.

The audit featured two auditors: Dr. Santhyami, S.Si., M.Si. (Biology Education) and Arinda Soraya Putri, S.T., M.T. (Industrial Engineering). During the audit, the auditor team conducted a comprehensive review of the study program’s governance, learning implementation, quality document compliance, and the implementation of various development programs.

The audit results demonstrated very positive results. The auditors expressed their appreciation for the significant progress of the Public Health Study Program, particularly in utilizing technology to support academic systems and governance. Document digitization, monitoring systems, and rapid response to audit inquiries were highlighted.

During the evaluation session, the Public Health Study Program team answered all auditors’ questions clearly, systematically, and in a timely manner. This demonstrated the preparedness, team cohesion, and well-structured governance.

In fact, the auditors stated that the Public Health Study Program’s achievements in this year’s AMI far exceeded expectations. Not only did they meet standards, but the various innovations and good practices implemented were deemed inspiring for other study programs, including auditors in their respective units.

The implementation of this AMI also affirmed the UMS Public Health Study Program’s commitment to maintaining and continuously improving academic quality, governance, and educational services to produce superior and competitive graduates.
