Surakarta, December 2024 – The Public Health Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (Kesmas UMS) held a UMS Public Health Bazaar as part of the Entrepreneurship Course Practical Exam. This event took place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, starting at 08.00 to 12.00 WIB at the South Park of the Moh Djazman Auditorium UMS.

This bazaar activity is a direct implementation of the entrepreneurship material that students have learned during their lectures. The bazaar participants are UMS Public Health students who form groups of 3 to 8 people. Each group has the opportunity to sell various creative products, ranging from foods such as dim sum, cakes, and takoyaki, to unique products such as cat accessories and other cute items.

The UMS Public Health Bazaar is also expected to be a place for students to develop creativity and innovation in creating products that have sales value. In addition, this activity also opens up opportunities for direct interaction between students and the UMS academic community and the surrounding community.

With this bazaar, students are not only assessed from academic aspects, but also from their ability to work together in a team, manage finances, and understand consumer behavior. It is hoped that this activity can inspire students to dare to start their own businesses in the future.
