Public Health Student Wins 3rd Place in HIV Education Video Competition on AIDS Day 2024

Sukoharjo, December 2024 – A proud achievement was once again made by Public Health (Kesmas) student, Fery Irawan, who won 3rd place in the HIV Education Video Competition on AIDS Day 2024. This competition was organized by the Sukoharjo AIDS Control Commission (KPA) in collaboration with the Sukoharjo Health Office (Dinkes).

This competition aims to increase public awareness of HIV/AIDS and educate about its prevention and treatment. Fery Irawan’s educational video raises the theme of the importance of early awareness of HIV/AIDS and the active role of the community in eliminating the stigma against HIV sufferers. With creativity and a strong message, the video managed to attract the attention of the jury and received high appreciation.

The Head of the Sukoharjo Health Office appreciated all participants who had contributed to disseminating useful information to the community. “We hope that works like this can continue to be developed so that education about HIV/AIDS becomes more widespread and effective,” he said.

With this achievement, it is hoped that more young generations will be encouraged to participate in the HIV/AIDS awareness campaign and contribute to prevention and control efforts in the community.

The UMS Public Health Study Program is proud of Fery Irawan’s achievement and hopes that this achievement can inspire other students to continue to work and provide a positive impact on society.
