Semarang, November 18, 2024 – The Student Choir (PSM) Voca Al Kindi has once again made UMS proud by winning two Gold Medals in the prestigious Soegijapranata International Choir Competition (SICC) 2024, which was held on November 14-17, 2024 at Soegijapranata Catholic University, Semarang.

In this competition, PSM Voca Al Kindi won the Gold Medal in the Mixed Choir category and the Gold Medal in the Folklore Choir category. This achievement shows the high quality and dedication of the choir members in honing their vocal and musical abilities on the international stage.

One of the members of PSM Voca Al Kindi who contributed to this victory was Nasywa Agustina Putri, a student from the Public Health (Kesmas) study program. Her success in this event is proof that students can excel not only in academics, but also in arts and culture.
