The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) held a public lecture on Saturday, July 25, 2022, via the zoom platform at 10.00-13.00 WIB. The public lecture was attended by students and lecturers of the Public Health Study Program, FIK UMS. The public lecture on Epidemiology of Non-Communicable Diseases was held with the theme Prevention and Promotion of Heart Failure. The activity was attended by Ms. Hiba Deek, RN., MSN., PhD. from the Department of Nursing, Beirut Arab University, Lebanon as a resource person. In the public lecture, Ms. Deek conveys knowledge about the prevention and promotion of heart failure, family-focused interventions for heart failure self-care, and educational interventions about heart failure self-care. It is hoped that with this public lecture, both lecturers and students will gain new knowledge about the prevention and promotion of heart failure.
