The student team of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta passed the selection in the 2017 Indonesian Student Business Competition (KBMI) held by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti). They passed the KBMI in the Food/Beverage Category.
The team is a collaboration of two Study Programs, namely the Public Health and Nutrition study program. the team is chaired by Anisa Nurarifah and consists of Sany Maulidayati, Ananda Pradita V.. Ulya Khoirunisa ‘Atin, The four of them have presented their proposals for an effort to produce “kukupisang (healthy and environmentally friendly snack)” which managed to get funding of 12 million.
He explained, KBMI is a central government program that aims to develop an educated young entrepreneurial spirit, encourage the formation of an entrepreneurial education model and develop entrepreneurship management institutions in universities. KBMI itself is a development of the Entrepreneurship Student Creativity Program (PKM). Starting with the Proposal Selection, then the funding stage, followed by external monev and the final stage, namely the KMI Expo (Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship). Where the winner will be chosen in the event, this time it will be held in Bogor, West Java.
