New Student Admission (PMB) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) for the 2018 period has officially opened. The inauguration of the opening of the PMB was carried out by Dr. Sofyan Anif, M.Si, as the Chancellor of UMS by symbolically handing over the registration number to the first registrant of UMS new student candidates from SMA Negeri 1 Sukabumi, Daffa Kstaria Firdaus, Tuesday (02/01/2018)

The opening which was held in the Validation Room, 3rd Floor, Siti Walidah UMS Main Building, started the work of the UMS PMB committee. The UMS PMB committee itself is in charge of serving prospective new students in registering, starting from the administrative process to the test.

Dr. Sofyan Anif, M.Si said that registration in 2017 experienced an increase in the number of registrants’ interest by 26 percent, with 46 thousand registrants. According to him, one of the factors that pushed the increase was the acquisition of Institution A Accreditation by UMS. Seeing this, he hopes that this year the applicants to register for UMS are at least the same as the previous year, and even increase.

Then regarding the One Day Service (ODS) system used by UMS in screening new students, UMS has an advantage. Through this system, the results of new student admissions can be more efficient in terms of time, transparent, and guaranteed quality.
