Occupational Health Safety or better known as K3 is one of five specializations owned by the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The K3 specialization has several practicum courses, one of which is emergency response management. The emergency response management course helps students to learn what hazards exist at work sites such as roots and earthquakes, how to rescue procedures and what must be identified in a building through safety induction. Apart from learning in the laboratory, students also take part in training including fire fighting assisted by the Sukoharjo Damkar and first aid in accidents assisted by Mr. Ekan Faozi, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep as a Lecturer in the Nursing Study Program FIK UMS along with friends other nursing.
