“UNGGUL” Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta

The Public Health Undergraduate Study Program held a Field Assessment conducted by a Team of Assessors from LAM-PTKes on 10 to 12 June 2024. The Assessor Team consisted of Dr. Nur Alam Fajar, M.Kes., M.Psic., AIFO from Sriwijaya University, and Dr. Kholis Ernawati, S.Si., M.Kes from the Islamic Hospital Foundation.

This assessment event lasted for three days, starting on Monday, June 10 2024. On the first day, the event was officially opened followed by a field assessment by the assessor team. The assessor team checked and reviewed various facilities and supporting documents owned by the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program.

The second day, namely Tuesday, June 11 2024, the assessment activities continued with an interview session. Interviews were conducted with various stakeholders, including alumni, lecturers and teaching staff. The purpose of this interview is to get a more complete picture of the quality of education and the learning process that takes place in this study program.

The final day, Wednesday, June 12 2024, closed with the closing ceremony of the Field Assessment. In this session, the assessor team provided several inputs and recommendations that can be used by the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program to improve quality in the future.

Thank God, a few weeks after carrying out the Field Assessment, the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program succeeded in getting UNGGUL accreditation from LAM-PTKes. This accreditation is valid from 2024 to 2029, indicating that this study program has met high educational quality standards in accordance with LAM-PTKes provisions.

This achievement is not only a matter of pride for the entire academic community, but also a motivation to continue to maintain and improve the quality of education in the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program.
