PT Victoria Care Indonesia Field Visit (Herborist)

Students specializing in Environmental Health from the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) carried out field visits on Tuesday 9 July 2024 at PT. Victoria Care Indonesia (Herborist). During this visit, the students were accompanied by Mrs. Rezania Asyfiradayati, SKM., MPH. as a lecturer in the Waste Management course. The visit aims to add practical insight to students regarding waste storage and disposal as well as B3, solid and liquid waste processing methods in industry. During the visit, students were invited to tour the factory to see firsthand the production process, packaging and processing of finished products. Before entering the factory, all employees and visitors are required to wear the sterile clothing provided, starting from lab coats, masks, headgear, gloves and protective footwear. Next, students are invited to enter the Quality Control (QC) laboratory and the Research and Development (RnD) section. Then, Herborist processed products were introduced at “Omah Herborist”, such as olive oil, betel soap, lotion, perfume and others.
