Students specializing in Health Policy Administration (AKK) from the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta visited the Surakarta City DPRD office. The visit was in the context of a field visit to the Advanced Health Policy Practicum. The field visit of students specializing in AKK, Public Health Study Program, FIK UMS, is one of the learning platforms for students to be able to conduct hearings to equip prospective public health workers with the leaders and members of the Surakarta City DPRD IV. This activity will be held on Thursday, June 20 2024 at 09.00-13.30 WIB. This activity was led by Mr. Ginda Ferachtriawan, S.E., M.Si. as Member of the Surakarta City DPRD Commission IV. Then followed by the Chairman of Commission IV DPRD Surakarta, namely Mr. Jajang Sumaryono Aji, S.P. and another member of Commission IV, namely Mr. Asih Sunjoto Putro, S.Si.. This activity began with a presentation by 4 6th semester students regarding the policy brief that had been created by the students. The Policy Brief created by students has a theme related to policies for friends with disabilities in various matters such as the rights and obligations of friends with disabilities, infrastructure for friends with disabilities in public areas and health facilities, and educational issues for friends with disabilities. Apart from that, the activity ended with a question and answer session and discussion between Commission IV of the Surakarta City DPRD and students of the AKK study program, Public Health Study Program, FIK UMS.
