The public lecture held by the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) is a routine agenda held every semester. This public lecture with the theme Opportunities and Challenges of the Public Health Profession in Supporting Health Digitalization was held on Monday, September 26 2022. Ede Surya Darmawan, S.KM., M.D.M. as a resource person. Apart from him, all lecturers, employees and first semester students of the FIK UMS Public Health Study Program were also present. In the material he brought, Dr. Ede Surya Darmawan, S.KM., M.D.M. that public health is the health of the nation which guarantees that humans can live sequentially where children can be born safely and old age can live a long life. Public health students must work together to create the prerequisites for a healthy life. Ecosystems and pyramids of prerequisites for a healthy life which include: services, shelter, clothing, food, water and air. It is hoped that after the public lecture is held, students of the UMS FIK Public Health Study Program can understand more about opportunities.
