
The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), carried out the Public Health Expert Oath Period I offline. The Public Health Expert Oath was held at Swiss Belinn Saripetojo Surakarta on Tuesday, September 20 2022. The Public Health Expert Oath was attended by Prof. Dr. Sofyan Anif, M.Sc., Chancellor of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta; Dr. Umi Budi Rahayu, S.St.Ft., M.Kes., Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; IAKMI Surakarta; IAKMI Karanganyar; IAKMI Boyolali; DKK Sukoharjo; DKK Solo; Head of BKKBN Surakarta; UNS Hospital; Islamic clergy; Hindu clergy; Catholic clergy; Dr. Yuli Kusumawati, SKM., M.Kes.(Epid)., Head of the UMS FIK Public Health Study Program; all lecturers and staff and students of the UMS FIK Public Health Study Program.

The Oath of Public Health Experts activity was carried out solemnly. Students are grateful to the Public Health Study Program and UMS for being a forum for education. Giving the message that being a public health expert is not pride but protection. Maintain sincerity, maintain patience, and maintain the balance of nature. The power to spread goodness, provide education, and improve health status. The challenge is to keep in mind that preventive and promotive efforts are the main ones, that prevention is better than cure.
