The Review Meeting on the Conformity of the Vision and Mission of the Study Program with the University and the Faculty of Health Sciences will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 10.00 – 12.00 WIB via the G-Meet platform. The meeting was attended by lecturers of the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). The meeting discussed the Vision and Mission of the Public Health Study Program, namely to become a Public Health Study Program with an Islamic character and provide direction for changes in science and technology to realize healthy rural areas in 2029. Discussion of the Public Health Study Program with an Islamic character means that in providing education within the Public Health Study Program environment by applying muamalah according to the Qur’an and Hadith. Followed by 13.00-15.00 WIB via the Zoom platform, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Mrs. Umi Budi Rahayu, ST, FT, M.Kes. The meeting was held in order to prepare the curriculum for the odd semester 2021/2022. The hope of holding the meeting is that in the odd semester of 2021/2022 the study program can implement the curriculum by adjusting the vision and mission that has been discussed. The vision of the study program that has been discussed previously is tackling rural health problems. Hopefully, this activity can bridge the study program so that it can reach the superior category.
