Tuberculosis Socialization for Students of Public Health Study Program

Students of the Public Health Study Program provide socialization about tuberculosis (TBC) to residents in Sangkrah Village, Surakarta On February 22, 2022. This activity is a series of PBL-1 conducted by students of the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Muhammadiyah University Surakarta (UMS). In the TB socialization, students conveyed about the importance of controlling TB by means of early detection by recognizing symptoms, modes of transmission and prevention. One of the most common signs is experiencing a cough with phlegm for more than 3 weeks, if this is experienced by the community, it is recommended to immediately visit the nearest health facility. It is hoped that after the socialization, the public will be more critical of the TB issue so that disease transmission control can be carried out optimally.
