The Independent Learning – Independent Campus (MBKM) Program is a program established by the Minister of Education and Culture which aims to make students possess and master various sciences from an early age to prepare them for entering the world of work. Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta held an MBKM meeting. The meeting was held on Monday, February 7, 2022 and was attended by lecturers of the Public Health Study Program, FIK UMS. The meeting discussed the preparation of the MBKM guide book and what forms of activities and procedures for implementing the MBKM could be followed by students. Some of the MBKM activities that students can participate in include student exchanges, internships/work practices, teaching assistance in education units, research/research, humanitarian projects, entrepreneurial activities, independent studies/projects, village building/thematic real work courses. It is hoped that the output of the MBKM program will be useful for improving the competence of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, to be more relevant to the demands of the times.
