One of the indicators to determine the quality of study programs is the existence of innovations and products that are beneficial to the community. The product can be in the form of IPR (Intellectual Property Rights). On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, an online socialization of the IPR submission mechanism was carried out by the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). The meeting was opened by the Head of the Public Health Study Program, Mr. Sri Darnoto, SKM., MPH., who revealed that the socialization of IPR is needed to improve the publication output of lecturers and students. This IPR socialization effort is expected to be able to initiate lecturers to apply for IPR and can invite students to conduct research / PkM that can produce IPR.
