Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PWM) Central Java held the 109th Muhammadiyah anniversary reception

The Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PWM) of Central Java held a reception for the 109th anniversary of Muhammadiyah on Saturday (20/11) night at the KH Ahmad Dahlan Edutorium Building, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

On this happy occasion, the Governor of Central Java H. Ganjar Pranowo, S.H., M.I.P conveyed his message about the role of Muhammadiyah in society.

“Muhammadiyah’s contribution, both culturally and structurally, has been felt by all levels of society, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Ganjar.

On the same occasion Haedar Nashir as the General Chairperson of the Muhammadiyah Leadership hopes that with the cooperation of the Central Java government and all levels of society, they can provide enthusiasm and optimism in dealing with Covid-19.

“Our message is that the Central Java PWM is optimistic about welcoming the 48th Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Congresses held in Solo,” he explained.

The event was also at the same time relauching the cauntdown of the 48th Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Congresses by pressing the enter button together with Muhammadiyah Central Executive, Aisyiyah Central Executive, Solo Mayor, Central Java Muhammadiyan Regional Leader, Central Java Aisyiyah Regional Leader and UMS Chancellor.

This is in accordance with the decision of the tamwir Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah in 2021, that the 48th Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Congress will be held on 18-21 November 2022.

In this milad reflection, a short speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu’ti, M.Ed as the general secretary of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive, according to the theme taken in the reflection of the “Live Lifelong Service” means being solemn for the benefit of the people and the progress of the nation.
