University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) again socialized the program of Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) for the third batch which is at the same time integrated with innovation talents. The activity was carried out on Monday (11/29/21) using Zoom and YouTube.

The third batch of MBKM is a continuation of the second batch of MBKM, with a total of 18,000 students from various regions in Indonesia.

Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in the previous period had taken the largest quota as explained by Vice Chancellor 1 Prof. Dr. Harun Joko Prayitno, “Teaching campuses took the most yesterday, namely 491 out of a total of 17,000,” he said.

According to Harun, the MBKM program which is integrated with Innovation Talents is an opportunity for students, because it provides various benefits, one of which is that UMS students can graduate without a thesis and at the same time publish it in reputable proceedings.

Deputy Chancellor 3 Ikhwan Susila, Ph.D. in his speech conveyed his form of support for students who will take part in the Integrated Talent Innovation MBKM program.

He hopes that UMS students can be an example in carrying out the program. “The younger brothers and sisters when attending this Teaching Campus bring our alma mater and association so that they can be an example for the community,” said the Ikhwan.
