The UMS scholarship aims to help new students who have good academic achievement and ability, or for students who need financial support or fee waiver facilities. UMS scholarships are provided for undergraduate (S1) and postgraduate (S2) students which are divided into several programs.

The UMS Strata 1 (S1) Scholarship Program includes:

BKAD Kyai Ahmad Dahlan Scholarship;
BU-UMS UMS Excellence Scholarship;
BTUMD Tunas Superior Muhammadiyah and Regional Scholarships;
BI-UMS UMS International Scholarship;
BP-UMS UMS Achievement Scholarship;
BHA Hafidz Quran Scholarship.

For postgraduate scholarships, three programs are provided, namely,

BP-BP Bakti Persyarikatan Postgraduate Scholarship;
BP-TU Tunas Superior Postgraduate Scholarship;
BP-TUN Ta’awun Postgraduate Scholarships for the Country.
