This Scientific Writing Discussion activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in developing creative, innovative ideas in making PKM (Student Creativity Program), especially for semester 1 students.

This Scientific Writing Discussion was held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the PacsaSarjana Building, 5th floor. This Scientific Discussion of Writing took the theme “Write Your Idea To Be A Bright Future”. In this event, two speakers were invited, namely Speaker one by Mr. Farid Rahman, S.St.Ft., M.Or. (Secretary of Physiotherapy Study Program II FIK UMS, Award Winner for Best Paper and Presentation Category SeNASTek 2017) and second speaker by Kak Wimmy Safaati Utsani (FKG UMS student, Mawapres 2018, Silver Medal Winner of the WINTEX International Innovation Competition).

This event started with the reading of Recitations and Speeches by the Chairperson of the Committee, General Chairperson, Supervisory Lecturer, and Head of KESMAS Study Program. To find out the increase in participants’ knowledge about this PKM by doing a pretest and post test. And a question and answer session was held by the participants to the speakers, then continued with a simulation of the discovery of PKM ideas and an overview of the concept of these ideas. Alhamdulillah, the Scientific Discussion on Writing was able to run well and smoothly with 125 participants attending.
