This activity is the initial activity of GeMPHA for new members. This activity has the theme “Growing the Spirit of Concern with the Quality Student Movement for HIV/AIDS” and was held on October 10, 2017 which took place in RD room 304, starting at 14.10-17.30. The activities carried out are in the form of providing material about HIV/AIDS and question and answer discussions between speakers and participants. The target of this activity is that all GeMPHA member participants for the 2017/2018 period amounted to 43 people. This activity coincided with the inauguration of the new GeMPHA management for the 2017/2018 period. The objectives of this activity include:

Increased knowledge of new members of GeMPHA in the field of HIV/AIDS
Formation of new members of GeMPHA who are reliable in the field of HIV/AIDS

The benefit of this activity is to provide knowledge to GeMPHA members about HIV/AIDS. In this activity we also provide pretest and posttest to participants to determine and measure participants’ knowledge about HIV/AIDS and matters related to HIV/AIDS. These results were known through statistical analysis and it was found that there was an increase in participants’ knowledge before being given the material (pretest) and after being given the material (posttest).
