A graduate of the FIK-UMS Public Health Study Program, Anggi Putri Aria Gita, was chosen to be the best graduate in the University at the UMS graduation period III 2017/2018 academic year. Anggi graduated at the third period of the graduation ceremony at the GOR Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Saturday (12/05) yesterday.
This woman born in Lampung graduated from the Public Health Study Program on March 10, 2018 with a GPA of 3.95 and a study period of 3 years and 6 months. He graduated with a thesis entitled “Risk Factors for Type II Diabetes Mellitus in Women of Productive Age in the Work Area of Purwosari Health Center Surakarta City in 2017”.
Being one of the best graduates is an honor for him. He is very grateful for being able to fulfill his parents’ wish to become the best graduate.
“This enthusiasm appears when parents attend your sister’s graduation ceremony at UMS and want their children to be the best graduates,” said Anggi.
During college, Anggi was an active student, both in academic and non-academic fields. Anggi also actively participates in community health student organization activities outside campus which are often held outside the city. According to him, academic achievement is not enough if it is not accompanied by non-academic achievements/soft skills.
Anggi is also active in organizations. He is active in the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Health Sciences UMS and a number of Faculty Student Activity Units and Study Program Student Associations. Anggi was once trusted to be Secretary for the regeneration of IMM FIK UMS commissariat 2015-2016, Member of POK HMP Public Health Center 2015-2016, Division of issue studies KEDAI ums Public Health 2016-2017, Member of IMMawati IMM kom FIK UMS 2016-2017, Member of the external field of HMP Community Health Center 2016-2017 Ums, Head of POKJA ISMKMI UMS 2016-2017, PSDM Division of ISMKMI (Indonesian Community Student Senate Association) REGION 3 2015-2016, Coordinator of Central Java ISMKMI REGION 3 2016-2017, Treasurer II BEM FIK UMS, regional coordinator 3 ISMKMI 2017-2018
He has also received a number of achievements, including being selected as 3rd place in the 2015 Central Java DIY debate competition of public health at UAD DIY, Best speaker debate competition of public health DIY Central Java 2015 at UAD DIY and the top 7 finalists for South Kalimantan LKTIN Univ Lambung Mangkurat.
Anggi is not the type of student who studies ambitiously. Anggi feels he gets maximum results if he learns while discussing with his friends. He also always pays attention to the lecturer’s presentation in class, so that he can better understand the material. I learned the most important thing to pursue knowledge and make my parents proud. say anggi
Anggi’s next target is to continue his studies to a master’s level. “I want what I have got so far, until I graduate, I want to practice it according to my own field,” said Anggi who aspires to become a lecturer.
