PeerEducator Training About Raising Young Generation Concerned About HIV/AIDS

This activity is part of the GeMPHA work program with the theme “Together with PeerEducators, Improving Young Generation Concerned about HIV/AIDS.” The activity was held on Saturday, December 9 2017 at 14.10-19.00 WIB in the R.K.2 room with Cahyanita Sekar Wijaya, SKM as the speaker. The target of this activity is GeMPHA members and student representatives of semester 1 and 3 public health studies as well as members of GeMPHA. The form of activities carried out is in the form of discussions and providing material about peereducators, duties and functions of peereducators, benefits of having peereducators and it is hoped that groups of peereducators can be formed .

The objectives of this activity include:

Knowing the duties of peereducator
Knowing how to be a good peereducator
Increase the knowledge of peer educators about adolescent health and reproductive health
Formation of peereducator groups

The benefits obtained from this activity are that participants know about the duties and functions of peer educators and are able to carry them out in the surrounding environment, especially in the campus area and during lectures.
