Surakarta — The Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), officially announced the complete lineup of its Public Health Student Ambassadors, now consisting of five selected students. Two new faces this year are An Afida Atsna and Rasendriya Hutomo, joining previous Student Ambassadors Raditya Arva, Rafidah Nasywa, and Rara Vera.
The addition of these two new Student Ambassadors is a strategic step by the UMS Public Health Study Program to strengthen its educational and advocacy role with the public, especially the digital community, specifically on preventive health issues, promoting healthy lifestyles, and increasing public awareness of the importance of primary healthcare.
These five Student Ambassadors will represent the passion, intellect, and compassion of UMS Public Health students in various health promotion activities, both on campus and in public spaces. They will also be at the forefront of conveying health messages through social media, community collaborations, and community service activities.
The Student Ambassador Coordinator for the UMS Public Health Study Program stated,
“We are proud of and congratulate our five outstanding ambassadors. They represent students who not only excel academically but also care about community service. We hope they continue to inspire and carry the promotive-preventive spirit in every step they take.”
With this new formation, it is hoped that the public health promotion movement will be more inclusive, have a broad impact, and become an integral part of the UMS Public Health Study Program’s vision of producing graduates who are competitive, socially minded, and adaptable to the challenges of the times.
Congratulations to all the Public Health Student Ambassadors: Rafidah, Raditya, Rara, Rasen, and Afida!
