PT Charoen Popkhan Indonesia is a poultry slaughterhouse and meat processing production house located in Salatiga. PT Charoen Pokhan Indonesia is the second location where students specializing in Epidemiology from the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) carry out field visits. This activity was held on Friday, June 21 2024 and was attended by all students specializing in Epidemiology from the UMS FIK Public Health Study Program, and accompanied by Drh. Haryono as the teaching lecturer and Mr Kurniawan Rahmadika, SKM. as an epidemiology laboratory. The visit was carried out to see directly the activities of slaughtering animals, processing animal meat, storing animal meat, sending animal meat, and also various kinds of processed products from animal meat such as sausages, nuggets and other processed products that have been certified by both the MUI and related agencies.
