National Seminar and Call For Papers on Mental Health Control for a Stunting-Free Generation

The Public Health Study Program of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) again held a Seminar and call for papers on Saturday, June 10 2023 in a blended manner via the zoom platform and held in the Mohammad Djazman Auditorium
Muhammadiyah Surakarta university. The seminar is also equipped with a call paper with articles published in the Proceedings of the National Seminar on Public Health and journals that collaborate with the national seminar for the UMS public health study program. The national seminar and call for papers had the theme “Mental Health Control for a Stunting-Free Generation” and was attended by three great speakers. Prof. drh. Muhammad Rizal Martua Damanik, Ph.D. (Deputy for Training, Research and Development BKKBN RI) was the keynote speaker at the national seminar, he presented material related to the Implementation of the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Program in Indonesia. Not only him, there were 2 other great speakers who participated in the national seminar, including Dr. Bagus Riyono, M.A., Psychologist (President of the International Association of Muslim Psychologists), he presented material related to the Importance of Mental Health for Pregnant Women, and Dr. Yuli Kusumawati, SKM., M.Kes(Epid) Head of Public Health Study Program FIK UMS who presented material related to Women’s Mental Health Preventing Stunting. The event was moderated by Mrs. Izzatul Arifah, SKM. MPH who is a lecturer at the UMS FIK Public Health Study Program. The national seminar and call for paper activities ran smoothly according to the set rundown, all participants were also enthusiastic about taking part in the national seminar.
