National Seminar and Call for Paper for Public Health Study Program 2021

The National Seminar and Call For Paper held by the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) was held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 online via the zoom platform. The national seminar takes place at 08.00 – 12.00 WIB. The national seminar and call for paper took the theme “Optimizing Village-Based Public Health Status Towards Global Health”. National seminars and call for papers are targeted at students, alumni, and the general public (health workers, the public, and members of professional organizations). The national seminar was moderated by Mrs. Dwi Astuti, SKM., M.Kes who is a Lecturer in the Public Health Study Program. The national seminar was filled by Mrs. drg. Kartini Rustandi, M. Kes., Secretary of the Directorate General of Public Health (Echelon. II.a), as Keynote Speaker. As for Mrs. Dr. Dra. Rita Damayanti, MSPH, Chair of PPKMI who discussed the Role of Health Promotion Personnel in Micro PPKM and Dr. Sayono, SKM., M.Kes (Epid), Chair of APTKMMI and Dean of FKM UNIMUS who discussed Strengthening Networks & Surveillance Systems as Anticipation of Dengue Epidemic Post Covid-19 Pandemic. The third speaker in this national seminar was Mr. Noor Alis Setiyadi, SKM, MKM, DrPH., Chair of IAKMI Sukoharjo Regency and Lecturer of the UMS Public Health Study Program. In addition to the national seminar that was brought by experts, there were nine research paper topics that were contested which later if selected would be published in the Health Journal of FIK UMS, including:

  1. Health information system and e-health
  2. Epidemiology and biostatistics
  3. Occupational Health and Safety
  4. Environmental health (entomology)
  5. Health policy administration
  6. Health promotion
  7. Community nutrition
  8. MCH/reproductive health
  9. Traditional health care and integration

In addition, there are also health-related service papers that will be published in ISSN proceedings.
