UMS Leaders Check Face-to-Face Learning Readiness UMS Leaders Check Face-to-Face Learning Readiness

Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) reviewed the readiness of Face-to-face Learning (PTM) with a recommended capacity of 25% of class capacity.

The review of PTM activities was carried out in Thirteen faculties at UMS on Monday (20/9) led by Vice Chancellor I Prof. Dr. Drs. Harun Joko Prayitno, S.E., M.Hum., and Vice Chancellor III Ihwan Susila, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Vice Chancellor IV Prof. Dr. dr. Em Sutrisna, M.Kes.

Harun said that this checking activity was aimed at knowing the readiness and the number of students expected to attend each faculty.

“Our presence has the aim of reviewing the readiness of PTM and the number of students attending each faculty,” said Harun, Deputy Chancellor I of UMS.

The Chair of the UMS Covid 19 Cluster as well as Vice Chancellor IV Prof EM Sutrisna said that in addition to preventive measures taken by UMS, UMS also provided a place for self-isolation and medicines for students and educators at Griya Sehat Pesma Mas Mansyur.

“UMS will provide isolation rooms and medicines for students and staff affected by COVID-19,” explained the Chairperson of the UMS Covid 19 Cluster.

The COVID-19 vaccine is useful for providing protection from being infected or seriously ill due to COVID-19 by generating or stimulating specific immunity in the body by administering a vaccine.

Vice Chancellor III for Student Affairs Ihwan Susila, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D. conveyed that students who take part in PTM directly are required to carry out a minimum of the first stage of Vaccination and strictly adhere to the Covid 19 Protocol which aims to prevent the spread of Covid and reduce the impact on the campus environment.

In addition, student activists need to have superior innovation and talent so that organizational experience with academic competence becomes the strength of holistic competence. His organizational experience needs to be supported by academic ability. They become role models in organization and become figures in academic ability. They must be able to prove that they graduated on time with superior abilities and experience, said WR I for academics, Prof. Harun Joko Prayitno.
