Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has successfully entered the third place in the world’s list of the best Islamic universities in the world according to the uniRank international rating agency.
Of the 408 universities that have entered the ranking, at least 20 Islamic universities in Indonesia are in the top 50. Meanwhile, in the top 10 rankings, four Indonesian universities were included, namely UMS (position 3), University of Muhammadiyah Malang (6), Indonesian Islamic University (7), and University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (8).
The criteria for universities that are included in the uniRank ranking are Islamic universities with accreditation from related institutions in each country and offering bachelor’s or master’s and doctoral programs.
“In addition, universities with learning systems are either traditional, face-to-face, or non-distance,” said uniRank on its website quoted on Sunday (11/14/2021).
While the data taken in the ranking is data that comes from web metrics that are valid, unbiased, and cannot be influenced by data provided by independent web intelligence sources. Not data sent by the University itself.
